MUMBAI: Fitness is of prime importance to actors. Long schedules are of no hindrance to them, when it comes to following their workout regimes. Some of the well-known Telly actors share tips and tricks of working out on the sets of their shows.
Sanjay Gagnani: I am very particular about working out and I don’t like to miss it, even for a day. This is why whenever I am on the set, I try to workout during breaks. I keep some equipment with me in my room so that I always have the option of working out whenever I want to.
Pranitaa Pandit: We put in a lot of effort in staying fit and missing workout even for a day or two can have an adverse effect. If I am not able to hit the gym, I try to do basic cardio workout in my room itself.
Jasmin Bhasin: Exercising is very important to me. Even when I am on the set, I try to take out time for some sort of exercise every day. It refreshes my mind and I am able to focus better. Yoga is something that really helps me relax and you can practice it anywhere.
Laksh: Shooting in Umbergaon is fun but working out every day can be challenging. Although we have been provided with a world-class gym, it’s tough to take out time to workout every day. This is why I try to fit in some exercise in between my shoot.
Ruhi Chaturvedi: I try to make sure to workout even on days when I am very busy. This is why I have kept an exercise ball with me on the set. I feel that just a few minutes of exercise can help you refresh yourself. I also try to meditate for some time every day.
